Beyond Limits!!

This past month we had a youth camp and had over 140 young people from
all over Rajasthan. It was my first time interacting and helping out
in a youth camp organized by youths from my Church Cornerstone AG!

It was a huge event and I want to thank you all for praying. Over 120
youths were new to Jesus, so they were in for a real treat!!  I
can’t even explain what happened during camp, I was video recording
the camp and I get moved whenever I edit or watch these videos...

Well,
coaching football has still been extremely fun since its World Cup!!
Senior Coach & Manager of Sporting Club J invited us over to his house
to watch one of the matches. Everyone showed up expecting a good match
but coach had something else in mind. For first time, he did a short
devotion with and shared his testimony. I was so amazed, later spoke
to few of my teammates and I can see that they were totally surprised
by coach. I guess nine months is all it took to help the 30 youths
think about the purpose of life and the existence of God!! Please
continue to pray...

please check out the video, sorry- it's HD but I hope you enjoy it...

10,000 Reasons. . .

I hope everything is going on well!!

God has been extremely kind to us, thank you so much for your prayers. We have an amazing ground to practise and to host tournaments. Two of my coaches and I were praying hard for a field and it’s amazing when God opens doors at just the right time. I'm able to really share the love of Christ with them through football! Sporting Club Jaipur is growing big and we now have over 70 youths.

I met with an accident and almost dislocated my left shoulder and should have broken my hand completely but I didn't. I know it was Him protecting and looking after me. For the first time in the history of Jaipur, I got to play in a 5V5 tournament arranged by DLF!! Believe it or not, I scored the winning goal and we made it to the semi-finals.

I boast in Jesus alone, because without His grace I don’t think we would have even qualified. Exciting things happening here in Jaipur, my church Cornerstone will be hosting kids and youth camp and we’re expecting over 220, so kindly join me in praying for this camp. The theme for this camp is Limitless aka beyond limit!! Two weeks ago, we were able to preach to over 70 non Christians and were able to share openly about Jesus in a village that was previously closed to the gospel. Many of the people responded, and have asked our church leaders to keep coming!!! God is doing some extraordinary work here and it hardly makes sense to me but He works in His own time, it seriously is amazing. . .

As for me personally, God has been so kind to me, even when I turn away or push His hand. He has just been so amazing and I often am blown away by the way He looks after me. I realise I can do nothing apart of CHRIST. I need him more and more! I have seen God personally come and breathe new life on me during times when I've honestly wanted to give up! I am so in love with Jesus and I sense His joy almost each day! So many reasons I can’t stop thanking Him for.

Honestly speaking, I seriously have more than 10,000 reasons to praise Him daily. My friend and I met with an accident, all I can remember is that I blanked out for the first five minutes and had landed flat on back with my head landing first. My friend also a pastor nearly broke His leg, we got up, thanking God and if it wasn't for His grace, I think I would have been in Heaven right now- ha-ha. Overall, I thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me. . .

Thanks again for your support and prayers! You are a blessing to me!

Survival of the fittest. . .

First things first- It was such a refreshing and a blessing time to go to K-homes for two weeks.  For those of you who did make it to Camp FEARLESS, I want to thank you for living and loving and showing Jesus. I constantly think, pray and intercede for you all...

This past month, I must say, I traveled to a lot of states in India than ever before. The places I traveled – From Rajasthan to Delhi, then back to Rajasthan, Rajasthan to Karnataka, Karnataka to Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu to Karnataka, Karnataka to Delhi, Delhi to Rajasthan. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. I totally enjoyed the ride. . .

Eliyah joined me and we adventured the north side for two weeks. It was a great honor to have him here.  Honestly speaking, this month has been fun for my team here in Jaipur.  S.C.J- is the name of the Club. The junior and the senior team went to Delhi to compete and they really put on a heck of a show there. God has been tremendously kind to us. We also traveled to other parts in Jaipur and out of Jaipur to promote and coach young kids and youths. It's one of my favorite things to do!

I clearly remember when we went to Sikhar; just outside of Jaipur to introduce football to school students they were super-excited. As usual, prayed, played and tried our best to show Jesus in the midst of it all. When we were done, we took a picture with the students and everyone went to get refreshments.
What I didn't know was there were over 150 boys and girls lined up to get autographs, to shake my hand, and more than 500 questions were asked for the next 1 hour. I really knew from that moment that they were in love with football and that they had more passion than I or the team had.

Please pray that God would open up doors and that we would be able to reach out and share the Good News as we minister to them through football. What I know for sure is we will be going back and will be doing football summer camps for the school. It has over 400 student s and please join me in prayer that all of them would truly get to Jesus.

Well, had to learn to endure the grace of God throughout this month. I thank you that through Christ I am already more than a conqueror right in the midst of my present impossibilities. . .

ACTS

Adoration: I praise Jesus, love Him, exalt Him, worship Him for who bible say He is.

Confession: I confess my sin and failures. I also confess who God is. I often do this out Loud
- confessing the powers in the heaven.

Thanksgiving: I thank Jesus for His created world, for friends, family, favor, health, blessings. For the Holy Spirit, for the prevailing blood, for the Word, for all He has done and all He is.

Supplication: I make my petitions known.

    - ACTS. . .

This past month, I have noticed how interesting our actions can be. I've learned and still learning that my actions should match my words and my life should be a blessing.

I am busy with work here. I spend 20 hrs/ a week coaching football, both with at-risk boys from our very poor community and with youth. I enjoy it tremendously. I love football (soccer), but I love using it as a way to reach these boys with the GOOD NEWS even more!

I remember this particular moment when I was on the ground, just twisted my right ankle for the third time, feeling dizzy and uncomfortable. The others who were near me helped me up and asked me to rest but I just said “fat chance” and got back on the field. Nothing amazing happened but the next week, a guy from the team walks over and says to me – thank you so much for encouraging me, you’re the only one who pushes and challenges me and walked away. I was stunned. In whatever I do, I now know that I have a choice to praise God and encourage and move on or just ignore His voice, be a thorn and grumble about life.

We just finished our first season with the youth but I can clearly see that many of the guys have been opening up and sharing their hearts to me. I've been sharing and encouraging three youths and now my friend Watts comes to my church which is really cool. We meet every second Saturday, hangout and he has been pouring out his life to me. He has been asking lots of questions!!! He has been through a lot and his mom walked away but she is now back. He is very close to the TRUTH. Pray for breakthrough and pray that God would give me the right words to share!!

I know that everyone is precious to Jesus and what really amazed me was how people often responded when I invited them to come to Church. After a long time I was seriously surprised at how shy I was, when it came to sharing the Gospel to my friends and neighbors. I prayed and went out and started inviting my neighbors, friends. Few of them did show up and I believe God has begun a beautiful work in their lives. I ought to live like Christ so that those around me will know and see how amazing Jesus truly is. Guess I will have to work on that, I know I’m not perfect but I, see myself as a person who loves God deeply and sins occasionally.

We love to cheer for the underdog and believe in our core that every life makes a difference and we are right. There is no one God can’t use and no one whose brokenness is too broken for God. God is bigger than your history and more concerned with your destiny Beloved. . .

Desperate. . .

It is possible to waste your LIFE! You can waste your life!! You can really really waste your life…

Even if we just sinned 3 times a day, after 42 years I would have to come before God with this list of over 42,000 sins and what does it look like? What is a list of 42,000 crime look like and to stand before a Holy God and to go “sorry”, to a God who hates sin and to stand with this list of sins and the Bible says Jesus paid for all. He washed it all away, otherwise I would have to pay my debt, pay for my sins.

As Graham said – it’s like we’re wearing a mask, we’re doing things and acting like the world. I have been studying and comparing the life of Saul, Jonathan, David and Samuel. The coolest thing is having the Spirit reveal hidden truth and it just blows your mind away.

We are called to be and act differently. I desperately want to be different, long to be a light in the darkness and to those I meet daily.

The past month was extremely challenging, couldn't have made it without the Holy Spirit. I have been learning a lot from failures but I am fed up and want to make a stand. Enough is enough; I started noticing that every time I asked for forgiveness; got things cleared, and stopped worrying and started trusting in God. Life was never the same in some ways. . . I just can’t live without His presence.

Only one life, T’ will soon be past… Only what’s done for Christ will last!                Isaiah 6:1-8 – Holy, holy, holy is the God almighty… the whole earth is full of His glory.
The truth is when Isaiah was confronted with the AWESOMENESS of God and His holiness… He fell on his face and he said woe!! That word is an exclamation of grief, distress or lamentation. If we would stop and truly with our finite mind contemplate God in His infinite ness, it should drop us to our knees… we should say, woe in light of knowing who God is and how small we are and we can’t skip past that!

It’s an amazing opportunity to get desperate with God and it was a great delight for me as I got to share the love of Jesus Christ to someone who was totally against it. . .
Few of the lessons that I have and am still learning is that -

You don’t need Jesus to give you anything; you just need more of Jesus. You need to understand how much you have in Jesus. When you do, you can say like the psalmist, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want . . . how cool would that be. . .

Undone

Happy New Year to all. . .

God has been doing some marvellous things and I am overjoyed. Looking back at the year 2013, I can clearly see how by His Uncommon love, I survived here in Rajasthan.

There were definitely lots of highs and lows but for me, last year was more of both I guess, honestly, enjoying and learning to endure in His grace. . .

It’s extremely beautiful as I recall the past year of how life was for me, because I seriously had no clue that Jaipur would be my new dream.  The funny thing is, from the beginning, I was never qualified but I guess God has a unique plan of picking up nobodies and making them as some-bodies.

The Bible, one of my all time favourite books, has been a huge blessing in my life.
I started reading the Bible from cover to cover and I kid you not, most of the stories were not just stories but someone had lived them out.

Just ordinary men but who chose to seek the face of God and who were undone. . .

To abridge my Christmas break in k-homes, it was phenomenal!! Two years ago, while I was working for Olive Leaf Tech, we as a team used to go to home of hope – a place for the special or gifted ones.

I was really moved by being and seeing how they survived and most of all loved ministering to them. It was an honour for me to watch, serve and love on those precious ones with the greatest family on Earth!

I clearly remember, as we were praying for each one of them, I was undone. I bet everyone else was too, because I saw many in tears and I was just blown away by His unconditional love for all His creation.

The coolest lesson that those precious kids taught me was that God was and will never be done with me.

I don’t want to be wise in my own eyes but be undone and live by the Spirit daily.

Missing those good old days. . .

Back to the Basics. . .

Extravagant Daily Time with Jesus. . .

Abiding leads to fruit. . .
He who abides in me and I in Him bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

The Greek word for abiding (meno) is connected to the Latin maneo – meaning house. From it we derive the English mansion. Abiding means to remain in one place, at a given time, with someone, to dwell with someone. John uses meno to express a reciprocal indwelling: we are in Jesus and Jesus in us.

The following incident took place in the month of May, about two years ago. . .

Worshiping The ONE, full of energy, praising, rejoicing, pouring my heart out, talking to my Dad, my best friend Jesus and slowly I sense fear kicking in…

He is the source of life, He is the sap, and this interaction is both constant and with special times of union. It is both the journey and the destination.

Well, let just say, standing in front of my family and friends, I was never felt stronger and braver but at the same time I was extremely nervous. I desperately wanted to explain how important it was to know Jesus and enjoy spending time in the secret place but I like - Peter, mumbled and tried my best to share my heart and make sure that they liked the sermon.

To be honest, I have heard over one thousand preachers preach and I wasn’t qualified but deep down, I tried explaining God’s heartbeat and literally made it short so that no one would pass out or fall asleep. Ha! Not that I was preaching long or talking too deep but I was afraid that the Holy Spirit would grip their hearts . . .

Abiding for me was not legalistic. Sure, I work at it – some days I don’t spend extravagant time with Jesus – but it is such a joy when I do. Lately, I have been shifting my priorities and I try to spend at least three hours Minimum. Like I said before, I breathe, eat, move, love and live because of Him. Life - It’s all about Jesus.

Men and women of God through the centuries have lived out this abiding truth. There are no heroes of faith who did not live out this extravagant lavishing of their time on Jesus.

They were addicted to extravagant time in the presence of Jesus because it gave them life and joy and was the only thing that fulfilled them.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas this year. Yes, Jesus is the reason for the season. . .
